Clay Prints
My Clay Prints are created through combinging printmaking techniques with clay materials. Printmaking tools and processes are used to print firable ceramic finishes onto clay. Techniques I use the most are monoprinting, relief printing and screenprinting, but I've used all printmaking process over the years to make clay prints. Currently, I'm focusing on two series of work for my clay prints.
Atelier This series explores my philosophy, concerns and musings about my role of being an artist and a craftsmant. It also explores the "Artist in Studio" and "Craftsman in Studio" as stand alone subject matter in a celebratory manner. As artists, our time spent in the studio, working with our hands is sacred. Working in the studio is something all can relate to and might be the most relevant subject matter an artist can address.
